Important Note: ArchiCAD Hotfix and Cadimage Tools

Posted by Joshua Osborne - Graphisoft New Zealand
March 1st, 2010

The new ArchiCAD Hotfix conflicts with the Cadimage Tools in OSX, and in some cases, may stop the hotfix process from completing.

NOTE: This only applies to Apple computers running OSX, with ArchiCAD 13 and the Cadimage Tools.

To avoid this problem, navigate to Macintosh HD:Applications:Graphisoft:ArchiCAD 13:Cadimage Tools Extras, and rename Profiler to Cadimage Profiler before running the hotfix.

BeforeSS

If you have already installed the hotfix and are experiencing problems, navigate to the following folder, Delete the Profiler file and then Rename the Profiler.backup folder to Cadimage Profiler.

AfterSS

When you are done in either case, your folder should be left looking this:

DoneSS

Once this is done, run the ArchiCAD Hotfix installer again to complete the process.

ArchiCAD 13 Hotfix 3259 available

Posted by Mark Horrocks - Graphisoft New Zealand
February 28th, 2010

A new update for ArchiCAD 13 is available.  It is Hotfix #4,  build 3259.  The Hotfix will automatically search for instances of all 3 ArchiCAD 13 applications (ArchiCAD 13, GRAPHISOFT BIM Server & the standalone BIM Server Manager).  If you are running Teamwork 2.0 it is essential that all Client machines are Updated as well as the BIM Server.  If this is on a seperate Computer the Hotfix will need to be run on this also.

To download the Hotfix go to your Help menu and click on Check for Updates.  Alternatively you can go Here, read the Release Report, and at the bottom, click on your specific version to start the download.
